Dr Mistry is a medical physicist by background with experience working alongside clinicians and academics in health innovation and implementation. Having spent several years accelerating the use of new approaches and technologies in hospitals for heart disease, brain injury, mental health, cancer and radiology he now oversees the innovation work for the Royal College of GPs. This includes developing an accelerator for GP entrepreneurs, enabling grassroots and open source innovation, cross-sector meetups (clinician, designers, engineers) and supporting system change (personalised care, genomics etc).
