Rumina is a GP in York, where her work on sustainability has so far achieved a silver award from the national ‘Green Impact for Health’ programme for her Practice, and she has steered her local federation (of 11 GP surgeries) to a bronze award as their Sustainability Lead since January 2023.
She regularly publishes posters and animations and writes an entertaining blog on eco-healthcare aimed at colleagues and patients. This content creation combines her experience in Primary Care with her enthusiasm for education and reducing the carbon footprint of the NHS both locally and further afield.
An accomplished musician and dedicated member of an internationally award-winning choir, Rumina is passionate about the Arts and the positive health and social benefits of community music-making.
