Heather has worked in the NHS for 25 years as an AHP in Operating Theatres with a background in both Elective operating and Major Trauma. After gaining experience working in industry she has returned to support the development of the Virtual Wards within NUH. She has watched the ongoing changes in Operational Management and has a keen interest in how digital healthcare can support tomorrow's NHS.
The Virtual Ward program has adapted within NUH to support the needs of the patient as well as the NHSE directive and the trusts EPR has worked adaptively to support that journey.
