India comes from a strong Primary Care background, having worked as an independent contractor for over 10 years providing programme management support, advice and consultancy services to primary healthcare organisations across London. Within this period, India supported ICBs, GP Federations, Training Hubs and Local Pharmaceutical Committees to deliver workforce transformation and service improvement.

Working as a Training Hub Lead for several years has equipped India with considerable workforce experience.  This has included supporting PCNs with their strategic development and workforce planning, specifically around onboarding and embedding the expanded workforce and delivering primary care workforce priorities, aligned to the GP Contract, Long-Term Plan and the Fuller Stocktake. 

India joined TPHC in August 2021, and since then she has managed 3 large Primary Care Transformation programmes, including; PCN Infrastructure development for North East London (developing toolkits to support their digital, workforce and estates maturity), developing a LTC outcomes framework as part of the LIS Equalisation Programme for North East London and most recently, leading a team to deliver an ICS Workforce Programme function for North Central London.

Additionally, India is managing the implementation of the Community Pharmacy Consultation Service (CPCS) in SWL; supporting GP practices to divert patients with minor ailments to a community pharmacist for a structured consultation.
