James worked in the disability services field for over 35 years. He has just concluded his second term of office as President of EASPD, the European Association of Service Providers for Persons with a Disability. He has served as a Chair of Fitness to Practice Panels for the NMC and for Social Care Wales. He holds a B.A. and M.A. from University College of Wales, Aberystwyth.
