It was great to join the Convenzis team again for the patient flow event. As always, the team were incredibly accommodating and happy to help. The quality of attendees is always of a high standard and relevant to the patient flow and to us also. We continue to have great discussions and footfall around our stand with no need to try and encourage people to come and see us. With more than ten years’ experience working in busy acute, academic, primary care and community settings, Jenny has most recently specialised in the intensive support of care homes. Working directly with care homes teams and healthcare professionals, Jenny has helped to develop and introduce systems which promote quality of care and reduce the risk of patient harm.
Jenny led a clinical medication review team, as part of the enhanced care home service in Norwich, which won an HSJ Patient Safety Award in 2019 and was published in the Journal of Medicines Optimisation. The team provided patient-centred medication reviews, prescribing advice to care home staff and clinicians, and successfully coordinated multidisciplinary approaches which reduced medication errors, improved patient safety and achieved year-on-year cost savings.
