National Head of Primary Care
Practice Plus Group
My name is Kamil Hryniewicki, and I am the National Head of Primary Care for Health in Justice – Practice Plus group. I am delighted to have been given an opportunity to be one of many esteemed speakers. I look forward to contributing to the 10th Health in Justice Summit: Building Bridges in Health in Justice.
My journey with Secure Environment Health started 11 years ago as RGN in a Cat B prison in South-East London. I held responsibility as Clinical Team Manager and Primary Care Clinical Lead whilst working towards becoming an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Emergency Nurse Practitioner.
In 2016 I became a Regional Lead Nurse, where I developed my leadership and management skills, which were recognised in my award of 'Nurse of the Year 2019'. Additionally, I obtained a Neuro Linguistic Programming qualification that, alongside being a Professional Nurse Advocate, allows me to think wider, think bigger and think better, see the bigger picture, collaborate with others and lead with vision and innovation. I then transferred to empower the nursing team and allied clinical professionals to deliver high standards of safe clinical care, quality care and excellence in care provision to all patients within Practice Plus Group. I have a deep-rooted commitment to equitable health care for all and the need to continuously improve health provision with the aim of striving for excellence.
I live in London, where I rode semi-professionally as a BMX rider. Lately, I have liked spending time in nature and capturing all the beautiful moments of seeing my kids growing up, besides supporting my wife's project of enhancing schooling for home-educated children.
