Karin Orman

Karin heads the Professional Advisers team responsible for promoting the profession with key stakeholders and decision-makers and providing advice and information to occupational therapists to support best practice and service innovation. She leads at the College on health and social care for older people, public health and Occupational therapy: improving lives, saving money campaign.

Before joining RCOT, Karin worked in mental health for 22 years in a variety of settings from inpatient to community based services.  Other roles include working for the South East Strategic Health Authority and working as an independent practitioner delivering training and supervision.
