Lisa Hughes

Lisa has worked within the London local office at Health Education England since April 2018. Since joining the team, she has set up a London-wide Urgent and Emergency Care workforce programme and manages the Advanced Clinical Practice and Physician Associate programmes at a regional level. In her current role, Lisa engages with Integrated Care Systems advising on their workforce programmes and acting as a conduit between HEE and the ICS workforce teams.

Lisa joined the NHS through the HR Graduate Management Training Scheme and has since worked in learning and development teams at Moorfields and Homerton, establishing apprenticeship programmes in both trusts and overseeing a range of learning and development programmes. More recently, Lisa worked at North East London Commissioning Support Unit in the Healthcare Consulting team.
