Lois Whitehouse

Lois is a Chartered Accountant with over 6 years of experience in Multi-Academy Trust leadership. She has spent most of her working career prior to this role working in large FTSE companies, latterly implementing change programmes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Leading Inspire Education Trust for the last 18 months she has been able to bring her extensive business background knowledge and skills, to help manoeuvre the obstacles COVID placed in our way.

A personal desire for quality education for all, not to be based upon a postcode, is what drove her to take this role, along with the opportunities she could see to take system leadership from large FTSE companies into a school environment to their added benefit.

Inspire Education Trust is a mixed MAT of 5 Primary schools and 1 secondary school based in Coventry and North Warwickshire in varied but mainly deprived areas.

With 3,800 pupils and 500 staff, they have grown through a robust model of school improvement turning schools from Special Measures to Good.

Since taking the role of CEO Lois has worked to set a vision, empowering people to believe and work towards perhaps the most important aspect of our roles in education – nurturing happy children in a safe, secure and engaging environment that enables their social and academic potential to be fulfilled, whilst contributing

positively to the communities in which we operate.
