In 2018, I made the move into Primary Care and GP Practice, with a focus on cardiovascular disease prevention. My days of receiving increasing blue light calls in A&E to many preventable strokes, due to CVD, AF and uncontrolled and undiagnosed hypertension, supported my drive to contribute further to CVD prevention. In particular, hypertension, the cornerstone and causation for the majority of cardiovascular disease syndromes.
