Marina Glasgow joined Acas in 2001 having spent almost two decades with the Ministry of Defence serving as a Contracts Officer and then latterly Claims Officer, with postings covering both the UK and overseas.
She has extensive experience in the field of dispute resolution through her work in conciliation, both individual and collective, in addition to being an accredited trainer, facilitator and mediator. Marina admits to enjoying researching and ‘translating’ employment legislation and has a particular interest in TUPE legislation, Communication Skills and Managing Mental Health in the workplace.
As Director for acas in the East of England her focus is to promote greater engagement with a wide range of stakeholders to better understand the current needs and concerns of workplaces in 2019 and beyond, and to ensure that acas is agile in its approach to meet those changing demands
