Mark is the Drug Strategy Lead at HMP Featherstone and Project Lead for the DRW

Mark is the Drug Strategy Lead for HMP Featherstone and local project lead for the Abstinence Drug Recovery Wing. Mark has been working in Prisons for over 10 years and most of those years were spent working in psychosocial treatment for drug and alcohol use. Since starting in post at HMP Featherstone in 2022 he has had a key focus on the three strands of prison drug strategy, Tackling Supply, Reducing Demand and Building Recovery. Over the past year Mark has led on the opening of two specialist wings- an Incentivised Substance Free Living Unit and the Abstinence Drug Recovery Wing.
