Michelle Osborne

Michelle started working within a medium – secure forensic mental health unit in Leicester as an HCA in 2001 and qualified as an RMN in 2007. Michelle has been the ward Manager of an acute admission MMI ward, within the unit since 2016. During this time she has dedicated her time and energies into providing recovery-focused care, developed a Sensory focused pathway for patients, focusing on times of crisis and enhancing the limitations within a restrictive environment and implementing a Trauma-informed care approach. She is a member of the SI Network and has presented her work at international conferences.
