Nick Hulme

Nick Hulme has worked in the NHS for more than 40 years and is Chief Executive of East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust which includes Ipswich and Colchester hospitals together with community services in east Suffolk and north east Essex.  

Nick is also currently the interim Chief Executive at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (NNUH).  

Nick is passionate about people, equality of opportunity and equity, and has made a lifetime commitment to help improve how the NHS cares and treats the people we serve across our local communities.

He is a board member of NHS Providers which represents NHS trusts throughout the country.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nick worked nationally leading the vaccination programme for 12 to 15-year-olds for NHS England.
