Rebecca Chester is Consultant Nurse for People with Learning Disabilities and Chair of the United Kingdom Learning Disability Consultant Nurse Network.
Rebecca has commenced working with Health Education England to lead on the development of the Advanced Practice Credential for people working in services for people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people.
Rebecca is committed to reducing health inequalities and improving the experience and outcomes for people using services. Rebecca Co-Chaired the development of the Advanced Clinical Practice: Capabilities framework when working with people who have a learning disability and/or autism and is looking forwards to continuing to work with Health Education England to bring the framework to life and to develop a highly skilled and clinically competent workforce to ensure that the health and wellbeing of people using services are met.
