Rezaul Mirza

Rezaul is Diabetes UK’s Primary Care Engagement Officer and works on improving diabetes care, working closely with primary care clinicians. This includes looking after education with regards to upskilling primary care health professionals in diabetes-related topics in order to support their patients effectively.

Over the last year, Rezaul has been pivotal in developing the Charity’s digitally innovative, and personalised tool ‘Information Prescriptions’. This proven effective resource has been successfully used by a variety of clinicians to transform patient consultations, developing better diabetes knowledge and management, especially in regards to self-care.

Rezaul continues to play an essential role in transforming diabetes care and is passionate about service user involvement when planning care processes.
