Sam Bignall

Sam is a member of the Revolving Doors East Midlands Lived Experience Team. Sam joined the team in 2019 and champions work around improving the outcomes for women who have come into contact with the Criminal Justice System along with the increased use of Community Sentence Treatment Requirements. Sam is keen to highlight the importance of providing holistic and individualised support to those who have been sentenced to a community order.

Sam also volunteers for the charity C2C Social Action in Northamptonshire that initially supported her and she is also a trustee of the same charity. Sam is now working at the new Kettering Woman’s centre site as Centre Co-ordinator.
