Sarah has been working at Harmless for just over 6 years, initially beginning her journey as a Specialist Trainer. She has now joined the Senior Leadership Team as Strategy and Resilience Lead. In this role, she coordinates resilience planning across Harmless services and supports strategic transformation to increase self-harm and suicide prevention provision across the country.
Prior to working for Harmless Sarah has extensive experience in the education field working with both children and young people and adults. She has a special interest in supporting those with special educational needs. She obtained her MSc in Psychological Wellbeing in 2015 and this enabled her to further her pastoral and emotional wellbeing interests. Her passion for inspiring hope and driving change along with her own personal experiences of self-harm, suicide and mental health conditions is grounded in the ethos that with the right support life can, and does, get better.
