Sarah has worked with the Quality Network for three years as a family and friends representative attending peer reviews. She facilitates discussions with family and friends around involvement, care planning, communication and support networks to share good practice and help improve service development.
In 2018, Sarah gained a first-class degree in Psychological Studies at the University of Derby. During her studies, Sarah conducted research surrounding the psychological impact of secondary caring for someone with mental ill health. Sarah presented her research at a workshop at the QNFMHS Low Secure Annual Forum at the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
