Vanessa Funmi Ullam is a dedicated mother of two boys, and one was diagnosed with Sickle Cell at just two weeks old. Over the past 12 years, she has been navigating the NHS as a patient mother. Vanessa recognises technology's significant role in improving patient experience in healthcare. With a career in the technology sector at IGEL, as well as being the founder of a UK-registered non-profit organisation, she combines her passion for innovation and her commitment to improving pediatric healthcare. Recently, Vanessa was awarded a place in the NHS England Entrepreneur Program, Patient Cohort.
