Case Study - Cornerstone Healthcare
The Nuffield Trust has been conducting research into variation and inequalities in NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC). Our mixed-methods project has aimed to: better understand factors affecting variation; where possible, explore the relationship between CHC and patient/local characteristics; understand what – if any – action local systems are taking to address this variation, and identify implications and recommendations for the health and social care system. In this presentation we will share more about our work including our key findings on data, factors affecting variation, challenges, areas of good practice and recommendations.
In this presentation we explore the delivery of Continuing Healthcare Assessments for neurodivergent individuals and how we can use personalised approaches to ensure that they have an experience which is tailored to their individual needs using specialised training approaches.
